Andrew Welsh’s shutdown job on Carlton skipper Chris Judd saw him pickup Bomber BOG honours in this weeks Nobby Clarke Medal voting.

Welsh finished ahead of this weeks AFL Rising Star nominee Tayte Pears, Alwyn Davey and Andrew Lovett. Lovett’s two vote haul in the process saw him close the gap to overall leader Jobe Watson to just two, with Watson now sidelined with injury.
