I missed all the warmups etc, and it was much the same as a fortnight ago.
Tomorrow’s squad, and Stanton doing run-throughs on the boundary. I have a suspicion that Stants’ efforts to get himself up for the Bushfire game were injudicious.
They were generally breaking into two groups, one for forward pushes, and one for clearances.
Leroy has a different hair-colour this week – zero. Ricky D looks to have imitated him but stopped at the #1 blade. Paddy has the biggest shorts in the business.
Two guys in the squad were missing and turned up later. One I was not surprised by, and the other I was a little. But I don’t think we’ll see the future coach, and Jimmy’s birthday will not be a happy one. No other hints!
Finished up with a lot of goal-kicking practice. Jay’s was A+. Scotty and Fletch went down for goal-kicking before everyone else, and Scotty celebrated by drilling one from about 65m. Didn’t see him miss one, even from the tight angles on the wrong side.
