Bendigo Win - Gumby Injured
Bendigo won their second successive game to stand outside the VFL Top 8 on percentage following a comfortable 48 point victory over 2007 VFL Premier Geelong at Windy Hill on Sunday afternoon in VFL Round 10.
The victory however was soured with another injury to 2006 top draft choice Scott Gumbleton who broke his collarbone early in the second half, which will see him miss the remainder of 2008.

I was at the game, I would say Hooker was definitely one of our best must have taken 8-10 marks across half forward.
Gumby looked fantastic. Played the first half on the wing and was everywhere. Looked like an AFL player playing VFL. But, the injury didn’t look good. He took a great grab, landed hard and his opponent landed on him. It looked like he could lift his arm.
I am very worried and wouldn’t be surprised if he misses a bit of footy. (sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Skipworth, Dyson and Holmes were our best midfielders.
Johns played on Hawkins and won that battle.
Mal played very well, he and Johns were very good down back
Wouldn’t have know John Williams was playing in the first half. Got a few touches in the second half and was composed.
